going to Boston


An awesome thing happened at the show last night. I got a ride to Boston with the band "Someone still loves you Boris Yeltsin"!!! We got to talk last night and since they went to Boston for their next show I asked if they could give me a ride. They picked me up this morning and we drove to Boston together in their tour van. It was snowing like crazy and it took us longer than expected to go as some part of the road was closed off. The guys are awesome! They are from Springfield, Missouri, and just at the beginning of a short tour along the east coast before they want to start recording new songs. I talked to them all through the drive and sort of 'interviewed' them about the band and their music. It totally reminded me of the movie "Almost Famous." We got into Boston at about 9pm and went to Great Scott for their gig. I ended up staying overnight with them - they were just too nice! :)
