The Kooks

I went to see the Kooks play live at the Arena yesterday courtesy of a large softdrink manufacturer. I was hoping to find some other people to come as well but nobody had time or they already made other plans it seemed - so I had to go out alone again. As it was free I went there early to beat the crowd. There were already quite a few people when I got there but it was no problem getting in when they opened the gates about half an hour later. But you couldn't get into the venue just yet so I had to wait another hour or so in front of the venue. (The weather was great so I didn't mind.) So, after hours of waiting the show started finally at some point. But they were showcasing 6 newcomer bands and afterwards last year's winner played as well so it was half past 10 when the Kooks finally started playing.
The concert was great! Everyone was psyched and people were dancing a lot. They played all the hits (not a big deal if you only have 2 albums) and an encore as well. Altogether a great evening.
