Immergut

It's always hard to write something is retrospect when you've already started thinking about other things... But here we go:
Immergut was great! Better than last year. Almost as good as 3 years ago when I came for the first time. This year I went there with Susanne, Susanna and some other people. Vroni was sadly missed as she went to Hay on Wye this year.
The lineup looked good but not great. (I would have preferred more international bands.) But in the end the bands that I heard were excellent and I had a great time with them. The weather was good as well (although it was freezing cold at night).
It would be much too hard to recall every band I saw every day but here are some of my favorite moments:
- Ollie Schulz with his amazing "Detektiv Ärmchen" blow-up octopus.
- The Whitest Boy Alive (although they didn't quite rock)
- oldie-but-goldie Die Sterne - great to see the crowd explode to "Was hat dich bloß so ruiniert"
- Friska Viljor: out of the left field Scandinavian party machine
- Kettcar!
- The Soundtrack of Our Lives: OMG!!! The Seventies are alive and kicking. Psychedelic, out of this world, one of the great concert moments of my life!
