North Shore


Today Johnny (who works at the hostel here), Alan (a Canadian from Montreal!) and Trisha (who also works here) went to the North Shore to some small beach and spent some time there. It was supposed to rain today, but we didn't really see a lot of that. We had beautiful sun up there. The drive along the coast was just amazing, with the green mountain on one side and the blue sea on the other. We stopped at a Macadamia plantation and sampled some nuts before we went to a small beach. The water was perfect and there were some great waves. On the way back we stopped to get some lunch and I had some nice Thai. We didn't see too many surfers today, but that's just because we didn't go to the right beach for that.
