Great Barrier Reef

Yesterday was my day trip to the Great Barrier Reef. I went with some of the English guys I met in the hostel and we had great fun. We went snorkeling in 2 different locations and I did an introductory dive as well. The diving was a bit strange as it was my first time, but I enjoyed it and would like to do it again. I'm still thinking of doing my certificate in a 4 day course...
We went with an old pearl lugger, a great old sailing boat, and we were only a small group. The reef was beautiful, but I had the feeling that the water was not as clear and there were not as many species as in Hawaii. But maybe that was just that location on that day... I rented an underwater camera and tried to take as many pictures as possible (not that hard for me ;). Have a look at them:

If you do that diving-certificate....
will you have any chance to actually
dive after leaving australia?
