weekend cancelled

After a good week it finally looked liked I would have the weekend off. And then, at the last minute, I was told we would have to work Sunday again... I still have Saturday off, but it feels like I was cheated out of a weekend.
I'm finally getting used to the work and friendly with my colleagues. But some of the testers I like most just left this week. A lot of them start university again these days. We had a few new people starting as well, but it doesn't make the job easier to have a lot of as yet inexperienced people around.
I received my first paycheck this week, but since it's only for the days I worked in August it's not even enough to pay for my rent. My next paycheck will only be in a month, but it should be substantially bigger with all the overtime I did.
