a new beginning

It's done. I quit my job today.
I will leave the company very soon (TBC) and will move to Berlin to start a new job as translation project manager (details later). This has been quite a while in the making and it wasn't easy to hand in my resignation today. It's been 16 month now since I came to London and at times it felt quite good here. I will definitely miss my friends and colleagues here - we've been through a lot.
But I'm also looking forward to start my new life in Berlin. For 3.5 years I haven't lived in Germany now and going back really feels odd. (I had hopes I could 'skip' the current government for example.) I'm glad I already know so many people in Berlin though and settling in should not be too hard I hope.
