Footy

Today I went to a Footy (Australian Football) game at the Melbourne Cricket Ground with Cyril and his Swiss friend who lives here in Melbourne. He has AFL membership cards through his company and we got first-class seats. I already saw one match on TV and knew most of the rules, but the atmosphere in the stadium is totally different, of course (43,000 people in the stadium today). We saw the match Melbourne against Hawthorn, and Hawthorn won 116 to 94. (Australian Football is somewhat similar to Rugby, which is also played here. You can find out more about the rules and history here.)
After the game we got some stuff for dinner and had a picnic in the park.
