Sydney sightseeing

I woke up really early this morning. I guess it's still the jetlag. I went to the city and bought an Australian SIM card for my mobile, so people can call me now. (You could send me an email if you would like to have my new number!) I met up with Mirjam, a Dutch girl I met at the CS meeting yesterday, and we went sightseeing in the city together. We went to the Botanic gardens where we saw cockatoos and fruit bats. The fruit bats are sleeping in the trees there during the days and fly out all through the city after sunset.
We went to the opera house afterwards and then walked along the harbour down to Darling Harbour and on to Chinatown. We also wanted to walk across the harbour bridge but it was getting late, so we might do that tomorrow.
