going to Kauai

This morning I got up even early in order to catch my flight over to another island, Kauai. I didn't have a direct flight and went from Hilo to Kona, then to Kahalui on Maui, and then over to Lihue on the island of Kauai. Everything went fine and I arrived there a bit after noon. I didn't quite know where I would stay, but met 2 girls at the airport and git a ride with them to the town of Kapaa, where the 2 hostels on the island are. We had lunch there and I also called a girl that contacted me via couchsurfing because she's also on Kauai. And surprisingly she was just across the street in a cafe! :)
She has a car and I then spend the day with her and we went to several nice spots on the north shore. Kauai is really small and really beautiful. We went swimming and snorkeling at a beach and some people saw a small shark there dozing off at the reef. I tried to spot it but didn't see it. In the afternoon it started to rain and didn't stop anymore until the next morning.
