Nara

The two Scottish girls and me took the train to Nara yesterday and walked around the temples and shrines there. There are 9 Unesco world heritage sites in Nara and tons of places to visit. We were really lucky with the weather as it was very sunny (while it was extremely rainy the day before and after). We rented bikes for the day but ended up walking almost the whole day. There are hundreds of deer living in the park lands in Nara and you can feed them, buying "deer cookies" every few meters. In the evening we spotted a geisha in full dress. The whole day was just so great!
