day trip


This morning I went to the hostel to see if I could do a tour with anyone there. Everyone already seemed to have left, but I met Andre there, a Swiss guy that I already met 2 days ago. We took the bus to Pahoa a bit to the south from here and then hitched a ride to Lava Trees Park, where we saw the remains of trees that were engulfed in lava and created some nice hollow lava tubes. Afterwards we hitched a ride down to the beach to some tide pools and a hot spring pool. In the evening, I was cooking Ratatouille for the people in the house here and we hung out and had a few beers.
