ATP
I just came back from the ATP Festival, where I spent the weekend together with Finn, Rob and Matt. I took Friday off and took a train/bus together with Finn. The festival was in Minehead, a small seaside town on the west coast in Somerset. Instead of camping they had small apartments there with a kitchen, shower, TV and everything. We were lucky to have ours very close to the main entrance, so it took us just a few seconds to leave our rooms and go over to one of the stages.
The festival was curated by Explosions in the Sky and the lineup was quite diverse. There was everything from indie rock/pop, electronica to hip hop. The bands I enjoyed most were Okkervil River, Broken Social Scene, The National, Iron and Wine, Explosions in the Sky and Battles.
The weather wasn't that great the first 2 days but got better on Sunday. We also went to the waterpark swimming for a while. As expected we didn't get much sleep and I#m pretty exhausted today (but still need to go to work).
